INTRODUCING THE EXTRAORDINARY RIMIDI
(Pronounced RE-ME-DY or RIM-IDI)
RIMIDI is a multidisciplinary artist, storyteller, and experience creator whose work centers on reconnection — to self, to truth, and to what feels deeply aligned. Miami-born and rooted in both creative and spiritual lineage, her work lives at the intersection of music, storytelling, wellness, and intentional experience design.
Through experimental alternative soul infused with ancestral ritual, emotional depth, and modern frequency, RIMIDI’s music moves beyond performance into presence. Her voice is both intimate and expansive — a vessel for reflection, resonance, and remembrance. Her artistry is not designed to entertain alone, but to invite people to slow down, feel deeply, and return to themselves.
Raised on the sounds of Sade, Anita Baker, George Clinton, Michael Jackson, and Prince, RIMIDI began writing lyrics and harmonizing in girl groups at a young age, singing into her first karaoke machine — an early initiation into sound as expression and medicine. Today, she leads her self-titled band (which includes long time band mate, drummer and Show Design Specialist, Roderick "The Suited Drummer" Williams) and creates across studios, stages, and sacred spaces, blending music with lived experience and intentional design.
Her forthcoming album and short film, JUNO: THE LATE BLOOMER, produced together with artist and producer, Fudakochi, marks a defining chapter in her artistic evolution. Created in partnership with Powerblast Worldwide, the project is a meditation on timing, truth, and becoming — a love letter to those who have taken the long way home to themselves. It is her most personal work to date and signals a renewed focus on music as both art and offering.
Beyond the stage, RIMIDI is the Founder and CEO of GEM CULTURE, a Miami-based nonprofit supporting creatively gifted youth through mentorship, safe spaces, and trauma-informed programming. With over 15 years of experience in education, curriculum design, and youth development, she has worked with hundreds of young people and communities, grounding her creative work in integrity, care, and real-world impact.
Her work also extends into wellness, where she incorporates practices such as breathwork, movement, and radical rest as tools for alignment and restoration. She is the creator of FIND YOUR RIMIDI, an experiential platform and gathering space that explores presence, expression, and intentional living through music-centered experiences and curated events.
Across her career, RIMIDI has performed for Disney and ABC Network, collaborated across music, media, and community spaces, and been featured in conversations that explore creativity, healing, identity, and purpose. Whether performing, writing, mentoring, or curating experiences, her work is guided by values that remain consistent:
Sacredness. Integrity. Expression. Alignment. Service. Liberation.
RIMIDI’s presence is grounding, her vision clarifying, and her work rooted in the belief that remembering who we are is both personal and collective. As she steps into a new season with JUNO: THE LATE BLOOMER and beyond, she continues to create from truth — on her own terms, in her own time.
